I had the pleasure of photographing the future Andersen's in a few locations in St. Augustine, Florida. To say it was an incredible session would be an understatement. The couple got engaged in 2020 in Aruba while on vacation.
We had two locations for their engagement photos both St. Augustine Beach and Downtown St. Augustine during the Nights of Lights.
We started their session just before 5 so we had great light on the beach and a huge shout out to Jacob for coming and assisting. Ladies if you want photos on the beach, I'm down I Love the beach but Im telling you beach wind is no joke (I know we live in Florida but it can still get a bit chilly), thankfully Kelsey & Spenser came prepared with sweaters and handled the cold air and wind like a champ.
THIS!! THIS RIGHT HERE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE IMAGES I HAVE EVER TAKEN! But seriously it is. On their first date they did something similar but this one takes the cake.
We spent about an hour on the beach, by the time we changed clothes, touched up makeup and got on the road to downtown it was DARK, don't worry as a photographer, I am not scared of the dark I make my own light. Kelsey really wanted to highlight the holiday lights in her images and I think they came out fantastic.
